Diary Pages (268 views)

What would I do without the open cages of my diary pages?

The gaps and spaces

the untie of my knots and laces

To come and go as free

The grips of its closer once I breathe my deepest of breaths

The extent of loyalty that stretches deeper than between the lines

It doesn't need to understand or define

My poetic lines

metaphors and dramatic rhymes

Similes to fuse a synergy

A connection a piercing injection

A time and a place for my passions erections

To the cage and each section

Till I'm pierced with the eyes of breathless perfection

The lost thoughts of my own direction

The blur of perception

Obstacles and objections

The truth of my soul spreads as a contagious affection

Not to the entire but a chosen selection

I sit and write the pages of my diary

To listen and feel the texture of my voice

The raise of my cheeks when I'm smiling

The stagger of my pen when I'm nervous

The hesitation gripped by confusion

and yet I am encouraged

To press on

and let the ink breathe to inspire

The release of my desolate fire

Through the mics wire

From a whisper to raise my voice higher

Exalted angelic choir till the life of my soul expire
